I had my first mini face lift and eye work done by Dr. Daniel Baker, the superb and skillful surgeon, par excellence. After surgery, I had no bruising, only minor discoloration, and of course, a degree of swelling. I can only speak to my own personal experience since everyone reacts differently to surgery. For post surgery, follow up skin care treatment, I chose Marita Hanson of Skin Magic on my own accord, through a suggestion by my skin therapy clinic in Aspen, Colorado. Marita proactively helped me through the healing process. I started treatments on day 4 after surgery and continued for almost a month. I feel that her various techniques, including lymphatic drainage, helped me reduce my swelling and prevent pain, and she kept an eagle eye on a daily basis on how I was healing.
